An important anti-narcotics meeting was organized by AM Welfare Society Punjab in which Oxide Inspector Mr. Muhammad Irfan Gujjar, Dr. Muhammad Salman, Chaudhry Muhammad Saleem participated. The determination to protect the youth from the scourge of drugs was reiterated. Strong measures should be taken so that the youth can be protected from it.

On The Occasion of National Voters Day

On the occasion of National Voters Day, Tehsil Renala Khurd, District Okara organised a Voters Awareness Seminar in University of Okara in partnership with social organisation AM Welfare Society and Farmers Development Organization and Blue Bar Regional Network. The title of this seminar was ” Women’s Election “Involvement in the process”.

In the seminar, Mr. Ghulam Murtaza Qadri (President AM Welfare Society), Ms. Ariha Shaheen, Coordinator AM Welfare Society, Muhammad Abdullah Rana, Project Manager Farmers Development Organization, Professor Muhammad Usman, Head of Department, Political Science Department, Ms. Sara, Political Department, and Mr. Sharjeel Ahmed Coordinator University of India. Apart from Okara, more than 200 students, teachers and political and social personalities attended.

The purpose of the meeting was to identify factors that provide detailed guidance on the importance and procedure of voting to women and backward classes as well as college and university students who are first-time voting.Speakers gave detailed guidance on the importance, power and procedure of voting and special mention was also given about voter registration, vote turnout and situation as candidates.
